Perfect Square
By: Michael Hall
The beginning of a new year can often offer an opportunity to bring about change. Sometimes the change can be frightening but sometimes it can lead to new and exciting things! Perfect Square, written by Michael Hall, is a great book to read with your children and talk about how sometimes change can be an exciting and fun thing! This story starts off with a square that is perfectly happy with having four equal sides but as it moves through the week, the square finds delight in transforming itself into amazing things like a fountain and a park. Parents can use this story to help children spark their imagination and creativity as well as use it as a platform to talk about transitions or changes that might come about in their lives.
This book can be found in our new Kindergarten STEM Collection, and is suitable for children ages 4-8.
